Established in 2000, the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter (GTBC) of American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) provides a local connection for acute and critical care nurses in the Greater Tampa Bay area; all major healthcare institutions are represented in the GTBC membership. Each year the GTBC hosts Critical Trends: Tides of Tampa Bay. This conference is designed to meet the educational needs of all acute and critical care nurses. Content is based on current trends in critical care nursing , with the presentations by local and nationally renowned speakers.
