Vote for National AACN Leaders!

This came from our AACN President today, so I am sharing! 

AACN’s election will close on Monday, April 15. At this time, we are shy of the percentage of votes required by our bylaws for a valid election. Therefore, we are reaching out to you as a part of our community of dedicated volunteers, ambassadors and chapter leaders to emphasize the importance of voting for your new national AACN leadership.

Amid staffing shortages, increased workplace violence and other barriers to practice you may face, the strategic direction of AACN is more critical than ever. Every vote counts to ensure our leadership represents the core values and issues most important to our entire membership. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to vote. Once you’ve voted, please encourage fellow members to select leaders who will continue to advance the voice of nursing in decision-making forums, advocate for safe and healthy work environments, and push for access to the vital resources and equipment nurses need to care for patients.
